Coding

All sites are hand–coded using XHTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Tableless layout using pure CSS.

Standards & compliance

All pages comply to W3C standards when sites go live, ensuring the best possible usability, accessibility and future-proofing.

Accessibility

Sites built to be as accessible as possible for site visitors using aural screen readers or those who may be using internet access devices other than a computer.

Design

Image manipulation and optimisation using Photoshop and Fireworks. See Creation.

Search Engine Optimisation

From 2008 sites are designed around search engine performance at the initial design stage. Keyword analysis, optimum code construction and site promotion are kept at the foreground from the start.

Cross–browser compatibility

Testing is done across many browsers and browser–versions. Different font styles and text–enlarging is checked to produce the best uniform presentation. Browser–specific CSS is used where necessary to remove differences between browser rendering. If JavaScript is disabled or Adobe Flash is non–existent, alternative measures are used to maximise usability.

Cross–platform compatibility

Sites built and tested on Mac and PC.
